Who we are

We are a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization committed to fostering a just, peaceful, and inclusive society. IDN-Kenya brings together individuals and institutions working collaboratively to promote good governance, peace and empowerment—particularly for vulnerable and marginalized groups.

What We Do?

Peace, Security & Social Cohesion

IDN Kenya envisions a secure and harmonious society where individuals and communities thrive in mutual respect and shared prosperity. Through inclusive peace dialogues, grassroots mobilization, and stakeholder collaborations, we champion initiatives that prevent conflict and promote peaceful coexistence across Kenya.

Advocacy and Awareness on Governance

Through strategic media engagement and grassroots campaigns, IDN Kenya advocates for inclusive, transparent and accountable governance. We inform and empower communities to actively participate in shaping policies that affect their lives.

Empowerment of Affirmative Action Groups

IDN Kenya is committed to inclusive development by uplifting women, youth, persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), the elderly, and marginalized groups. Through empowerment programs and partnerships, we help turn vulnerability into opportunity.

Research on Governance and Emerging Issues

To guide our advocacy and program design, IDN Kenya leverages credible, evidence-based research. We collaborate with expert institutions to unpack critical issues like governance, security, misinformation, public health, and peacebuilding.
