3.Empowerment of Affirmative Action Groups:

IDN Kenya is committed to inclusive development by uplifting women, youth, persons living with disabilities (PLWDs), the elderly, and marginalized groups. Through empowerment programs and partnerships, we help turn vulnerability into opportunity.

Key Objectives:

  1. - Promote economic and social inclusion of vulnerable groups.
  2. - Provide training, resources, and advocacy for equity.
  3. - Build the capacity of underrepresented voices to influence decision-making.

Activities:

  1. - Community outreach and CSR (e.g., school support in Kanampiu)
  2. - Tailored trainings and capacity-building for youth and women
  3. - Campaigns against exclusion, discrimination, and abuse

Impact:

  1. - Hundreds of school children supported with basic needs.
  2. - Improved community perception and inclusion of vulnerable groups.
  3. - Built leadership capacity among youth and women.

CSR Distribution at Kanampiu Primary School, Rumuruti, Laikipia County:

Construction of 2 classrooms , Kitchen and support of water tanks , stationeries, uniforms and mentorship; uplifting 300 young learners through collective goodwill.


CSR Distribution at Alpha Glory Primary School, Dagorretti South, Nairobi County:

Support of water tanks, soap, hand sanitizers, masks, stationeries and awareness creation on the need to embrace the Covid 19 vaccine; shielding over 500 pupils against the covid 19 pandemic.


Training & Capacity Building for Women and Youth:

Equipping tomorrow’s leaders today; inclusive training for affirmative action groups.

From the margins to the mainstream; empowering women as agents of change.
